For the first time in 4 months or so, I am posting.  Maybe out of sheer boredom or maybe because I am slightly hung over and depressed, I don't know what it is, but I am posting.  And I just wanted to thank Katan for letting me vent for a minute about things.  But mostly I want to thank him for venting to me...it reminded me that my life isn't so bad and how badly I need a haircut...

I'm going back to my roots--literally and otherwise.  I've dyed my hair back to black.  Very black.  And i'm started to listen to more Chinese music, which is weird because when i was growing up, i was so eager to rid myself of any sort of culture.

Alrite enough with the seemingly deep thoughts.

I need to watch some Beavis and Butthead or some Jackass to wipe out any sort of intelligent thought or idea i have before studying for finals (which isn't much).  So if anyone can lend me some dvds/videos, i'd appreciate it.

Wow. Time goes by pretty quickly when you don't stop to xanga everyday.

Here's a breakdown of what i've done in the past week:

Last Thursday: I went to go watch Zig perform at Eclectic. Bumped into my floormate Andrew and watched them both perform.  Great job to both of them! The show was awesome until "Bruce Lee" came up to "spit" some rhymes.  His pseudonym is bad enough.  But then he had to open his damn mouth.  He revered only Eminem and said "fuck" and "pussy" in every line cuz he had nothing to rap about.  And all this in the name of Hip Hop.  Yuck.  Thank you Ziggy for saving the show.

Friday: Why don't people clap at the end of movies, especially the ones I know they fully enjoyed???  Happy 7th month Will!

Sunday: Our filmfest was a success!!!!  Okay, so it wasn't like the whole ucla population showed up, but it was still a first for us.  And we pulled it off, okay?  Despite some technical difficulties.  Great job Zig for practically putting the whole thing on.  Great job Dave on "American Fob" (so hilarious)!!!!  Then we stayed up to watch "Flower Drum Song."  It's a musical made in the 60s featuring all Asian Americans. (Whatup to the San Francisco Chinatown!)  Very cool movie, in spite of the trippiness factor.

Monday!!! I finally saw the Matrix and have decided to work that into my French essay.  Yuuup.  I went to see Zig perform at a Vietnamese Student Union sponsored event and bumped into Andrew again.  Great performances you guys!

Tuesday to now: Hell, otherwise known as school.  It's okay cuz i have the banquet to look forward to today!!!  Ha-ha! If only the sen***s knew...
